Come one, come all!! To the Shire of Hartshorn-dale in the Kingdom of the East! We are excited to welcome you to the Known World Arts & Sciences Symposium, March 9-11, 2018, to be held at the Double Tree Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Please join us for a Friday evening opening ceremony, a full day of classes, and a Ball and a period gaming room on Saturday evening! We are looking forward to a weekend delving into the gentler arts!
Currently we have a wide variety of classes, including an interesting variety of costuming classes, scribal arts, brewing, feast, music, making pins, astrolabes, storytelling, research skills, Viking studies, Anglo-Saxon studies, and embroidery.
We are still seeking teachers, to submit a class please send an email with your full name, class title and description. We have one hour time slots available. We have a preference for a diversity of topics that are above beginner level. Unfortunately the hotel has VERY strict rules about outside food and beverages in public spaces, so classes with tastings or food prep will not be able to be accommodated. Please email the event steward, at firstname.lastname@example.org
